How do I pay for my merchandise?
We accept Visa/Mastercard and Discover. Our site offers maximum security
but we do realize some people are not comfortable with entering their
credit card information online. If this is the case, we give you the option
of phoning (207) 212-4032 in your order to us. If no one is available
to take your call, please leave your name and phone number and we will
call you back as soon as we get your message. If ordering by phone, please
do not add items to the shopping cart. Simply have all information at
hand including items and scent descriptions (if applicable) along with
your choice of method of payment and your shipping address. After processing
your order we will either e-mail or phone you to inform you of the correct
total of your order including shipping and sales tax (for Maine residents
only) for your approval before we charge your credit card. If you want

Do you accept checks?
Although it is a longer process, we want to give you the opportunity to
pay by check. To do so, please do not add items to the shopping cart.
Simply e-mail Mainely
Soap with the following information, making sure to use 'Order'
in the subject line of the e-mail.
State the items you wish to order. Please make sure to include your fragrance
selection if applicable.
Tell us your shipping address. We will then e-mail you an invoice with
the total amount due, including shipping and sales tax (for Maine residents
only), and we will give you the address to send your payment. We cannot
ship your order until payment has been received and cleared.
Do you charge sales tax?
We are required by law to collect 5% tax for Maine residents only.
Is my credit card information
safe?
Yes! This site uses a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) for processing orders.
The SSL encrypts all of your private information to ensure complete protection
of your personal data.
How long will it take to receive
my merchandise?
We do everything possible to ensure that your order is processed within
48 hours of receiving it. UPS/FedEx may take anywhere between 4 to 7 days
for delivery. During the holidays that time may increase. Since we have
no control over the merchandise once it is shipped, please allow 1 to
2 weeks for delivery. We can provide you with a tracking number so you
will be able to see its arrival.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. Please specify shipping method in the comments section with your
order.

How do you handle returns?
Unfortunately, we do not accept returns due to the nature of our products.

What if I need to cancel my
order?
We try to begin processing orders very quickly. If you need to cancel
an order please contact us by e-mail
or phone (207) 212-4032 within 3 hours of placing your order.
What are your shipping fees?
We charge actual shipping fees to send your order. We will e-mail you
the total cost of your order including shipping fees and we will not charge
your credit card until the order is packed and ready to ship. Please see

page for further details.
Do you have a minimum order
requirement?
No, there is no minimum when you shop with us. Although there is no minimum
requirement, you should know that on a small order the shipping fee might
be as much if not more than the item itself.
What if an item I ordered is
out of stock?
We will e-mail you immediately and you may decide if you want to replace
it with another item. We do not take 'back orders' but you may request
to be notified by e-mail when the item becomes available again.
What if my credit card is
declined?
We will not be responsible for delays in processing orders due to declined
credit cards. If your credit card is declined, we will contact you by
e-mail to notify you of the problem as soon as possible.
